Monday, July 7th, 2008

Today I was digging for some info on ‘mens fashion’ and came across the following section:

Points will be given out in same fashion as last year with: First female being awarded 10 points, second, 9 points, all the way to 9th getting 2 points, t hen all other finishers getting 1 point. … Mens winner gets 20 points, down to 19th getting 2 points and all other finishers getting 1 point….

Because I didn’t want to write a too short blog entry, I checked some search engines on alternative fashion and found this:

Terra Incognita…

Anyway one of my acquaintances on myspace has this huge advertising campaign going on, for what I believe to be some sort of HINT to alternative thinking. … Does that stop me to wonder about who has put the stars/planets and all other outer worldly events in what seems to be a organized fashion? No it does not….

Fujitsu laptop strikes (pink) gold

Saturday, July 5th, 2008

People are always asking me to blog more often, well here you go, I searched for some info on ‘japanese fashion’.

All laptop makers have joined the fashion bandwagon so it’s no surprise that Fujitsu is continuing to experiment with its runway persona. … The Japanese company has gone through some interesting evolutionary phases of its designer laptops, from finishes in ubiquitous pink to an odd cedar and now precious m etals, at least in name….

Bondage Trousers, Airbeds, Cowpats, Bacardi and she is in a band

The fact that I was going to take my walking gear alongside my gothic stuff was therefore going to require some proper planning to make best use of the space available i n my Fiat Panda. … The mattress was indeed most comfortable and a fine purchase, however here is a word of warning to anyone who might wear bondage trousers especially if they have s…

Closest to Home: Local Government Archives

The report by the Council of State Archivists (CoSA), Closest to Home: Archival Programs for Local Government Records, issued in January 2008 and available at http://www.statearchivists.org/lga/index.htm, is an important benchmark assessment of local government archives. It is also a sad commentary on the failures of the American archival community. Closest to Home nicely enumerates all the challenges represented in managing local government archives, including issues of standards, lack of a

London - London, England, United Kingdom

Saturday, July 5th, 2008

Today I was digging for some info on ‘gothic makeup’ and came across the following paragraph:

Jump to the full entry & travel map London, England, United Kingdom Thursday and Friday, May 15th and 16th were (yet another) holiday in Madrid so I chose, once again, to take advantage of the 4 day weekend to go somewhere outside of Spain.  On this trip, I decided to head to London. I couldn’t believe that in my 36 years, I had never been to London before.  I suppose I always thought it was the least exotic of the European countries with English also being the national languag

Playing Dress Ups With - The Lil Midget

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

People are always asking me to write more often, well here you go, I searched for some information on ‘gothic skirts’.

Finally, the third winner of my ‘Dressing Up’ contest, is The Lil Midget. As a fellow Australian, The Lil Midget is coming into Winter and lives in an area that can be rather chilly at times. Her special outfits requests were to help her look taller as she is only 5′2″, and outfits for both everyday, (Lil Midget is a university student) and out on the town. I also happen to know that she loves both Gothic and alternative fashion, so as a Goth from way back, I have a bit of an

Adam West Doesn’t Like the New Batman

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

People are always asking me to write more often, well here you go, I searched for some information on ‘gothic makeup’.

At least, that appears to be what the reporter wants me to think. But nothing he says in the Comicbookmovie interview quite adds up to this. West, who at one point distanced himself from his TV role but now embraces the iconic status it has brought, told Comicbookmovie he felt no ill-will towards The Dark Knight but it had an entirely different approach to the character. He said: Ive only seen bits and pieces of . Theres an enormous amount of effort and time and mone

Last Night: Riverfront Park Fashion Series

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

I’ve a passion for Gothic and keep looking for information on it. Today, I checked if I could find more info by entering ‘corsets fashion’ in Google and found this:

Slide Show Last night’s installment in the Riverfront Park Fashion Series, featuring clothing from Garbarini, had the base of the Millennium Bridge hopping with complimentary drinks, tasty treats and, of course, plenty of fashionable eye candy. The crowd milled about while the DJ spun — and for a brief moment, the scene took a very surreal turn as an electric violinist performed while several girls dressed in very Parisian-looking white corsets with electric blue fishnets did a kind of int

A Look at Marcos Rosales

Saturday, June 28th, 2008

This morning I used Technorati to find more info on ‘gothic bondage’.. And this is one of the first results I found:

Rosales: “Bondage is a way that many people test their limits, experience psychological liberation and at times out-of-body experiences. … , all nets and knots and tassels and tendrils; in the vicinity of the photos they take on a rather creepy gothic aspect, like bundles of nerves or veins stained for d…
