Party Hardy : Christian Audigier Nightclub Opens at TI
Last night I used Technorati to find more information on ‘gothic shirts’.. And this is one of the first results:
French fashion designer Christian Audigier (odd-i-zhay) - famous for his Japanese tattoo inspired Ed Hardy line of t-shirts, sneakers, jeans and other semi-pricey gear - has opened the first fashion-themed ultralounge at TI, Treasure Island. The club, located where Tangerine was, features Audigier inspired decor : skulls, swords, birds, flowers and other neo-gothic tattoo prints. Servers, bartenders, furnishings, champagne bottles and possibly even toilet seats are covered in a massive pastiche
Aargh, not exactly what I was looking for, but a good read nevertheless.
League
I happened upon League by accident and was wowed when I did. I had been on the hunt for some sexy dresses and was finding them here and there but I needed one WOWSA dress. I had logged into OnRez and there on the first page was the Scoop Dress from League in brown. I had to have it, so I check the sellers name and was stunned to see it was Nena Janus, who I had chatted with many times in the Fashion Consolidated Cafe group. I immediately teleported over to League in the very cool steampunk
I tried several more searches on ‘punk fashion’ but after some time I got lazy, gave up and posted this entry to ‘Gothic Lyrics’. Still, I think it was an interesting time.
